Cytiva(싸이티바)의 ÄKTA pcc™ 및 BioProcess™ pcc 크로마토그래피 시스템은 공정 개발 및 생산 스케일에서 주기성 역류 크로마토그래피 (periodic countercurrent chromatography, PCC)를 사용하여 연속정제 공정을 활용해 타겟 단백질을 정제하기 위해 개발되었습니다.

Cytiva(싸이티바)의 ÄKTA pcc™는 모니터링 및 제어를 위해 UNICORN™ 제어 소프트웨어와 BioProcess™ pcc UNICORN™ 또는 DeltaV 제어 소프트웨어를 사용하여 작동합니다. Batch 크로마토그래피와 비교했을 때, 연속 크로마토그래피는 레진의 결합 용량(DBC) 활용도 증가, 버퍼 사용량의 감소 및 컬럼 크기 축소를 통해 생산성을 크게 높이고 생산 능력을 향상시킬 수 있습니다.
